Hey Coop and Barb, how y'all? I left because it just got to...
whatever. I decided to check back in to see if maybe Balecox was
still around and hopefully Langford. It seems some of the old
timers --- in tenure, not age<G>, are still around.
I think I'll hang around for awhile and see what's going on.

Hey JC. things are great. Hubby is doing fantastic.. I think we
survived Ike. Just got back home last Friday. Was without power
for two weeks. I am still a huge Strait and Tippin Fan. Listen to
them
Wow. 4. Ya got me by 3. Glad you made it through the storm. We got
a few bumps and bruises out here around East Bernard/Lissie but
nothing like the poor folks on Boliver and places like that. We
lost the roof of one barn but already have that replaced.
Like Bill Bailey used to say "we sufferred about a thousand bucks
worth of improvements".
The kid's still with Roger Creager. They usually put one good old
two stepper on each new cd. I guess so Daddy will buy one. <G> They
just hired a new guitar picker that looks like he's about 12 but
boy can that kid play and sing harmony. Here's a little clip. "I'm
from the beer joint" is sorta my kinda song.

Sounds like the family is doing great. Thanks for the clip. I rarely
listen to radio.... I can't stand the cookie cutter junk.. if you
know what I mean.
This place has been so dead without the regulars in it. I have
wondered many times about Patti and Kit. I have heard from nola a
few times. I miss her big time. I was suppose to go to that side of
the world a year ago, but my daughter announced she was expecting
number 4... so I had to stay home.. Hopefully, I can go so Nola and
her hubby can show me all over Perth....
I have thought about Mr. Clark as well.... I was also suppose to
spend 2 weeks playing in NZ... while I was there... perhaps someday
I will.
Sorry to hear about the roof on the barn. Galveston has reopened to
visitors, but you are still not allowed to go in the water.... but
they are trying to get their buisnesses opened back up. that could
help the people there rebuild even quicker.
I was crushed when the Balinese Ball Room collasped. History has
been washed out to sea....

Yeah, with a lot of good phone numbers. <G> I'm speaking of bookies,
you know. But heck, I'm still mouring the loss of the "Breezeway
