I have a question that has been pestering me for years. Around 2000, I was driving in my car and just caught the tail end of what sounded like either an old country and western or gospel/ bluegrass song that had in its lyrics the phrase something like "if you see Buddha on the road kill him."... which is a classical Buddhist saying!
It blew my mind to hear this lyric that seemed so out of place in the style of music, but I loved it and have been trying since then to find the name of the song... with no joy so far.
If anyone knows anything about this song even educated guesses I'd be most apprecative. Not sure if it helps, but the song was playing on an am station near Knoxville Tn..
Thanks for any help
