Curtis Day? Joe Nichols?

Hey anyone know what has become of Curtis Day, he had a song called my
baby's cookin it was played on club dance a lot he also had the song
called cowboy stomp me and my friends still like his music to this
day, he was good........... he never had any real big hits
Joe Nichols had the song "Wal Mart Parking lot social club" i think it
was actually a hit
i recently was able to dig up his cd on ebay i love the cd
he also has six of one half dozen of another on that cd
anyone remember or know anything about these guys?

Wish I could help you out Sara, but I don't know what happened to Curtis
Day either. I just thought I would keep this thread alive with another
"Whahappened?" post.
I sure wish Curtis had the chance to release another CD. His voice
wasn't one of the strongest out there, but I really liked his music. I
preferred his ballads over his fast stuff though. I think three of them
could hold their own today if given the same amount of support as your
"average" hit. <g> In particular, I think "The Truth Is Hard To
Swallow", "Pull The Wool Over My Heart", and "I Can Do It In My Sleep"
are great ballads. I still play his (and another of my favorite
never-quite-hit-big singers, Brett James) CD nearly daily. (I have those
three on mp3, so if I am not in the living room listening to the 301 CD
player, I am listening to my country mp3s on the computer.)

My name is Frank Day. Curtis Day is my older brother. He is an inspector on natural gas pipelines in California. You can still order his CD on Amazon I think. He is on Facebook and every now and then he still sings. Sounds the same but maybe a little richer voice with age.

My name is Rick Coleman I actually went to school with curtis day @ Hardin Jefferson and Westbrook in Texas I thought he could have held up to anyone but I think like everyone else Davis Daniel's Rick teravino Rhett akins..I think Garth Brooks killed most of them which was a shame because he blew in and then retired for 15 yrs and they still think since he is back now...me personally if it wasn't for greatest hits he would be washed up...hate to say that because I'm a fan but how long can you ride.."The Dance"!!
